JUDITH JOHNSON

Judith’s plays include Uganda (Royal National Studio/Royal Court); Somewhere (Royal National Theatre /Liverpool Playhouse); The Singing Group and Exclude Me (Chelsea Theatre); and the musical Release the Beat written with composer Karl Lewkowicz (Arcola Theatre). Judith’s TV work includes Grange Hill, The Bill and First Sex which was nominated for a children’s BAFTA.

Judith recently worked on a play about food for inclusive theatre company Razed Roof, which was performed at Harlow Playhouse March 2011. Her second musical Goodbye Barcelona, written with Karl Lewkowicz, will open at Arcola Theatre, November 2011.
