MICROWAVE YEAR THREE – STRAWBERRY FIELDS

Following their participation in Microschool, the film-making teams pitched their projects to a panel of experts before 2 projects were given the greenlight to go into production.

The panel liked the idea of a rites of passage film about 2 sisters told from a woman’s point of view. The film explores an erotic undertow bravely and interestingly and has two lead roles that stand a great chance of pulling in great actresses. Frances and Liam were shortlisted with another project last year, but did not manage to get greenlit. The panel knew however that they were a capable team that needed the right project to submit to Microwave. We look forward to working with them on Strawberry Fields.
